Evaluation & costing

Start with a useful workflow.
Define what success requires.

A defensible scope begins with the work, its risks and the evidence needed to trust it. Synaporia currently offers a path to architecture discussion and synthetic evaluation, not a production-qualified subscription or SLA.

Engagement pathway

A concrete next step, at the current stage.

Scope a workflow

Architecture workshop

Map the objective, systems of record, data classes, decisions, prohibited actions, reviewers and required evidence. The proposed output is a scoped workflow and gap register; effort and commercial terms are agreed before work starts.

Test the approach

Controlled synthetic evaluation

Compare a bounded implementation with its simpler baseline using non-sensitive scenarios. Define the quality rubric, review burden, failure paths and full cost before interpreting a result.

Separate admission

Future pilot qualification

A customer-data pilot is not currently offered. It requires a named environment, current identity and privacy controls, qualified effects/evidence, operational readiness and explicit applicable approvals.

AI cost control

Price the accepted outcome—not the generated draft.

Provider input and output are only part of the cost. Include retrieval, tools, repeated attempts, human review, correction, escalation, infrastructure and assurance. A generated draft is not automatically an accepted business outcome.

Total outcome cost = provider + tools + retrieval + review + correction + failure + escalation + operations + assurance

An evaluation should distinguish accepted, correct and authorised work from attempts, drafts and unresolved obligations. Clarification or refusal can be the right response without completing the underlying business objective.

Model eligibility, reasoning settings and budgets should match the task and its deadline. The current console exposes separate financial views, but demonstration figures are synthetic. Reliable invoice reconciliation, representative review costs and customer unit economics still need qualification.

No percentage saving, self-hosting break-even, margin or performance guarantee is published without workload and contractual evidence.

What determines scope

A proposal should answer the practical questions.

Workflow

What must happen—and what must not?

Define the output, authorised effect, source systems, review points and unresolved obligations.

Deployment

Which boundary must be qualified?

Record identity, hosting region, provider terms, privacy duties, adapter coverage and assurance requirements.

Evaluation

What would justify continuing?

Compare the proposed workflow with its simpler baseline. Define quality, factual errors, correction burden, total review time, clarification success, false refusals and appropriate safety non-inferiority criteria before interpreting the results. Keep important task and subgroup results visible; aggregate averages cannot conceal harmful outcomes.
